Suzy Kolber

Suzy Kolber (Suzanne Lisa Kolber) was born May 14th, 1964 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She apparently graduated from the University of Miami. (Wow, there are a lot female sportscasters who attended college in Florida. What's up with that?) Personally, I mainly remember her as host of 'NFL Matchup' on ESPN (a very under-rated show IMO) But she was also an anchor for Sports Center and various other ESPN shows before winding up as a kind of sideline reporter; first for Sunday Night Football, then for Monday Night Football. (She also also spent about 3 years at FOX from '96 to '99)
... However, she is probably best known for her sideline interview with Joe Namath. On December 20, 2003 she was Interviewing Joe Namath on the sidelines during a Jets / Patriots game when Joe Namath said that he wanted to kiss her, twice, and even moved in a bit for one, but Suzy pulled back. It sounds a little lame when writing it/reading it, but when it happened live, it was, shall we say memorable,... in part because Namath appeared to be intoxicated and Strugg-a-ling.
