Cheryl Ladd was born July 12th, 1951 in Huron, South Dakota.  She is best known for playing Kris Munroe on TV's 'Charlie's Angels' from 1977 to 1981.  I find myself wondering; on a show that featured so many beautiful women, why was Cheryl Ladd the only one I developed a childhood crush on?  Especially when you consider that post 1981, when in my mind I was no longer a child (although the Government sees that differently) I developed quite the crush on Jaclyn Smith.  So what gives?  My best guess is that when young, the fact that Cheryl was the shortest of the 'Angels' and the opinion that she was the cutest of the 'Angels', really worked in her favor as far as me singling her out.  Of course, I could be wrong, it's not like I thought about it analytically, I just knew I was really, really, attracted to Cheryl Ladd.  

For a time ('73-81) Cheryl Ladd was married to the son of famous actor Alan Ladd, David.  In addition to having extensive acting credits, Cheryl also sings, in fact she apparently moved to Hollywood to begin a career in music, but ended up landing enough acting roles to lure her away from that career track.  Even though she had many roles before Kris Munroe and even more after Kris Munroe, to me anyway, Kris Munroe and Cheryl Ladd are so intertwined, I can't really look at Cheryl Ladd without seeing, Kris Munroe.
