American Strong Ale

Basically the American Strong Ales are Ales that have 7 percent alcohol or more and don't really fit in any other beer style categories.  Therefore, American Strong Ales vary quite a bit from Barleywine-like to Old Ale-ish.  American Strong Ales have from 7.0 to 25 percent alcohol so can be very boozy.  Some may be aged in barrels.
