Dixie

This American Macro Lager tastes unsurprisingly like an American Macro Lager. Really, I'm trying hard to pull something from it to differentiate it from the multitude of other American Macro Lagers out there, but the only thing I can come up with is that it may taste ever so slightly sweeter than your average American Macro Lager. (And maybe slightly more adjunct-y as well) So, the good news is that if you like that adjunct-y American Macro Lager taste, I can't imagine why you wouldn't like Dixie. The bad news is that if you don't like that adjunct-y American Macro Lager taste, I can't taste anything here that would cause you to like Dixie more than other American Macro Lagers. I don't quite know where to put this one in the database as the label says.... Brewed for Dixie Brewing Company, New Orleans Louisiana, by Joseph Huber Brewing Company Monroe, Wisconsin. I guess I'll give credit to Louisiana, but apparently it actually comes from Wisconsin, or at least my bottles did. |
