Wow, this beer has a definite sweetness to it.  Luckily, it doesn't cross that line into sickly sweet, but oh my, it's sweet.  This Munich Helles Lager definitely has a barley malt flavor as well as a nice full mouth-feel.  It's also very smooth.  However, I'd have to say that the carbonation is too low and as much as I love malt and especially barley malt, I think this beer is lacking hop balance.  Honestly, I taste no hop presence, so I'm sure hop heads pan this beer mightily.  But, if you love barley malt, there is definitely something here for you, however without that Hop Balance, this beer just doesn't reach that upper echelon of beers for me.  I do love the list of ingredients... Water, barley & hops.  (So, I guess there are some hops there, but, and I can't believe I'm saying this, I think it needs more hops.)
