New Belgium Sunshine Wheat
|
This American Pale Wheat Ale tastes a little too much like your Average American Macro Lager for me to really get excited about. Sure, it is does have some wheat flavor that your Average American Macro Lager lacks, but it's really not that special. The killer is that it has a watery, thin mouth-feel like an American Macro Lager. I believe this is the only beer I've ever had from the New Belgium Brewing Company that really gave me that sensation. The flavor also skews thin and is a bit one dimensional, although American Pale Wheat Ales tend to be shall we say, non-complex. That being said, it's not bad and I didn't detect any off or bad flavors, so it has that going for it.
