Oppigards Winter Ale

This Winter Warmer was smooth. A little dry and bitter, but basically balanced. In addition to some decent caramel malt there appears to be some spice present as well. All together it is a complex yet subtle brew. I love beers that are complex yet subtle. Mouth-feel was medium with light carbonation. This beer is also slightly sour, but in a good way. Overall a very nice beer I thought, one I could actually drink just about any time. |
