Peak Organic Pale Ale

This American Pale Ale is smooth with a solid barley/caramel malt base and grassy hops coming on in the finish. In addition, I thought it had a slight pleasant earthiness and sweetness about it. The mouth-feel was medium and slightly slick with carbonation that was medium skewing low. That carbonation also seemed to be of the fine type so often seen in Belgian styles. A solid showing to be sure, but somehow not knocking my socks off. |
