This American IPA is thin malt-wise but seems to have some complexity on the hop side of things.  It's mostly citrusy and floral hops with a hint of pine.  The mouth-feel is medium, skewing thin while the carbonation is medium skewing light.  It's a bit on the bitter-side and not terribly smooth.  The bitterness lingers a little bit.  I realize many hop-heads may not give a rats ass about the malt portion of a beer, but I really dig some malt, even in a hoppy American IPA.  I sort of think balance is the most underrated attribute of beer today.  Saint Arnold Homefront, did a fine job on the hop side of things, and since it's an American IPA, that may be all it needs, but for me, I'd much prefer a malt flavor component to poke through as well as a beefier mouth-feel.
