Shiner Fröst
|
This Dortmunder / Export Lager to me, tastes like a Light version of Rahr Bucking Bock. It has a nice mild grassy taste that is slightly sweet, which is followed by a reasonable crisp bitterness. The mouth-feel is decent with medium to light carbonation. Well balanced and a very smooth easy drinking beer. In my opinion, they should replace Shiner Blonde with this, Shiner Fröst. Apparently this is a seasonal, and since it's winter, I'm assuming I won't be able to get it in the summer, and a nice, smooth beer like this would be excellent on a Summer day in Texas. Really a nice little beer.
