Day 52 Checking CPU Temp

After having my system freeze yet again, after rebooting I decided to see if I could find a way to check my CPU temperature with Ubuntu.

A short Google search, found the following procedure...

     From the terminal, I typed....
sudo apt-get install lm-sensors
sudo sensors-detect

    I then tried typing....
sudo sensors

But, it did not work, so I rebooted, reopened the terminal and tried again...
sudo sensors

Bam, it worked, and I found that my CPU was not even close to overheating.  So, Sensors is cool, but it did not tell me why my copy of Ubuntu 8.04 is always freezing.
